•put employers'requirements first •develop new training provision to meet the sector's needs •deliver training either flexibly in-house or via open courses that help the sector to develop through uncertain economic times •collaborate with other providers in the South West to develop and share best practice
In the current economic climate, staff development programmes can really help businesses survive and be prepared to gain competitive advantage in the upturn.
City of Bristol College is working with employers to help them ensure that both current staff and new recruits have the appropriate skills to manage the challenges ahead.
The College offers a range of programmes tailored for the financial services sector including flexibly delivered administration and management programmes and NVQs as well as technical and sector-specific courses.
To help offset the costs of training, the College can also access a range of funding streams.
