The employer board helps the South West Training Provider Network to fulfil its aim to put employers at the heart of skills training.

Employers from across the South West have recognised the value of the National Skills Academy and are participating in the regional employer board. It has been established to engage with, and empower employers, offering the chance for high level discussion of pertinent issues.

The board helps providers to understand employers’ training needs and gain valuable sector knowledge from the ground.

The board has already set a number of key objectives to help take the sector’s skills training forward.
